Study Plans for the 24-foot Flattie Sharpie
Flatties were popular on the Chesapeake Bay during the late 19th-century.
Dirt simple to build, they have a flat bottom with flared topsides, all “developable” surfaces.
The Flattie has a cuddy cabin and simple rig, making it a great fun daysailer and beach cruiser.
And of course she is trailerable. The gaff sloop rig is traditional and beautiful.
