Study Plans for the Quick-Molded Terrapin 42 cruising schooner

The Terrapin 42 is a traditional gaff-rigged schooner inspired by modest commercial fishermen from the late 19th-century — but with practical, modern accommodations and made from readily available materials.

The hull is double diagonal planked from 5/8″ marine plywood, using the “quick-molded” method for simplicity, low cost, and high-strength.

Parker Marine Enterprises built the prototype OYSTER in 1992/93 for a family in Texas.
