| CONSTRUCTION | Cold-molded wood/epoxy/fabric and polystyrene foam core (BlueBoard). The hull is built over bulkheads, greatly simplifying lofting and construction. Covering system — epoxy impregnated Xynole-polyester cloth finished with linearpolyurethane paint systems. Hull has foam-filled compartments in the ends, providing enough positive flotation to make this vessel unsinkable. Interior –painted ply trimmed with varnished hardwoods. Mast is cold-molded wing with carbon fiber reinforcement. |
