ACCOMMODATIONS          The layout shown sleeps two in a private aft cabin and two forward in the main cabin. Other layouts are available on a custom basis.

CONSTRUCTION             Cold molded wood/epoxy/fabric: Bottom–double diagonal marine ply planks (¼” x 6”) over 5/8” tongue and groove planking laid fore and aft. Sides–double laminated ¼” marine ply. Decks–double laminated 1/4″ marine ply over sawn beams. Covering system–epoxy impregnated Xynole-polyester cloth finished with linear polyurethane paint         systems. Spars–mast(s) hollow octagonal (Bird’s Mouth) laminated Douglas fir/epoxy, booms solid Douglas fir. Interior–painted ply trimmed with varnished hardwoods.

OPTIONS    Complete plans includ the construction manual THE NEW COLD-MOLDED BOATBUILDING. Alternate rigs and interiors are included with plans. The PRESTO 36 may also be built with a full keel or fin keel. We have builders available if you prefer to have a vessel built to any stage of completion.
