ACCOMMODATION Layout is for two couples in private cabins with private full heads at each end of the vessel for maximum privacy. Pilot house and saloon are large, well-lit, well-ventilated, with comfortable seating and space to entertain. Nav station and desks are large. Two tenders up to 15’ long can be carried on the middle coach roof. The mast and boom are easily and rapidly lowered, using a large heavy-duty tabernacle, allowing the vessel to pass under over 90% of the bridges in the ICW. Clearance: 11’
CONSTRUCTION Cold-molded triple-diagonal ¼” planking over tongue & groove ¾” inner planking, covered with epoxy-impregnated Xynole-polyester or Dynel cloth. Decks, Houses and coachroofs of composite ply/foam/ply construction incorporating sawn beams. The hull is built around structural bulkheads, simplifying lofting and hull-layup. A Master Curve is defined in the Lines Drawing, from which all hull sections are generated. When reproduced full-size, this further simplifies lofting and bulkhead layout—which amount to the same process.
PLANS Full construction plans include THE NEW COLD-MOLDED BOATBUILDING, Construction Notes and Construction Details.
