This is a big version of the classic New Haven Oystering Sharpie that evolved from native dugout canoes in the 19th century.

The original 35-foot two-masted sharpies were too shallow to have a cabin with standing headroom, so I designed this larger version.

This model is very simple to build, will sail very fast, and is “Maxi-Trailerable.”
