Double diagonal 5/8″x12″x8′ plywood planking over longitudinal stringers and partial backbone. Sides and deck: 5/8″ plywood.
Spars: solid Douglas fir. Interior: Painted plywood trimmed with hardwoods.
OPTIONS Complete plans include the construction manual THE NEW COLD MOLDED BOATBUILDING. Materials costs were approximately $24,000 total in 1989. Vessel may be built as commercial fisherman or coastal/island cargo carrier with a maximum capacity of 3.5 U.S. tons.
